Dyslexia Scotland North East Dyslexia Scotland has a mission: 'to help everyone reach their full potential'

As a branch of Dyslexia Scotland we aim to help them achieve this mission. We are a group of local, friendly, volunteers who aim to provide support and information for families and individuals living with dyslexia in the Grampian area. Most of the group have had their lives touched by dyslexia in some way, whether that is due to having dyslexia themselves, knowing a family member with it or may work with people affected with dyslexic issues.

As a group we share experiences, hear of success stories, discuss different aspects of dyslexia and provide support. We also have regular speakers who cover various issues relating to dyslexia - check out our forthcoming ones and click here to read our recent NEWS.

Our next open meeting - details here.

Dyslexia Scotland North East Library

We have a selection of information books on a wide variety of topics related to dyslexia. We also have some useful resources including PC softwaredictaphones, coloured overlays and games. We are constantly updating our library and any recommendations are very welcome! We endeavour to make the library accessible during our monthly branch meetings. We are always looking for new books, resources and products to buy for the library, so if you have any ideas - get in touch!

Recent Branch Information

Both branch meetings and youth club are now running on the same night at Mile End Primary School. Although this is a change, it seems to be working.

Susan will be stepping down as Chairperson at our next AGM this June, now that she runs the youth Club and is involved in setting up a new charity - SensationALL.
